Where does the time go? I can’t believe it is down to just 8 more days here at Patagonia Lake SP & Sonoita Creek State Nature Area.
Once again we have made memories, new friends and explored more of this beautiful country. Took trips to ghost towns and tourist traps, met fellow bloggers and full timers, ate at some really good local restaurants, hung out with a group of other interesting and fun volunteer snow birds here. Some of the kids came to the campground and we had good times and made some good memories. We had a blast relaxing and living the area, some days were busy and some were laid back, we watched movies and read books, explored some of the area around the campground and watched springtime roll across the desert.
Anyway they say a picture is worth a thousand words so here are a few from our stay here at Patagonia Lake.
I do love the west and looking out across the rolling hills and scrub, it is easy to imagine the history we read about taking place here in these wide open places. There is still a lot of that out here. As time passes I am becoming more drawn to dry camping out in some of the more remote areas. We’ll see, maybe next fall or next year.
Thanks for joining us for the adventure and be sure to stick around, there is much more to come.
